Pakistan clinched the UAE T20I Tri-Series 2025 title after a dominant win over Afghanistan in the final at Sharjah. Afghanistan skipper Rashid Khan struck with three middle-over wickets to restrict Pakistan to 141/8. However, Mohammad Nawaz turned the game with a brilliant five-wicket haul, including a hat-trick, as Afghanistan collapsed to just 66 in their chase. Earlier in the tournament, both teams won one game each in the league stage, but in the final, Pakistan’s bowling proved decisive. Once again, the Sharjah pitch heavily favored the side batting first, making chasing extremely difficult under evening conditions.
