Fired Overnight: TCS Manager With 14 Years Service Gets No Severance

A TCS employee claimed on Reddit that his manager, with 14 years of service, was forced to resign immediately without severance pay after being labelled “non-billable.” The post came soon after TCS announced a 2% global layoff affecting 12,000 staff. The manager’s team had been assigned to modernise 15 outdated IBM applications for a U.S. client. Despite knowing it was nearly impossible without rebuilding, management insisted. The employee called TCS’s treatment of loyal staff “unethical and heartbreaking.
