Israeli Troops Fire on Gaza Aid Seekers, Killing at Least 32

Israeli forces opened fire Saturday on Palestinians gathering near food distribution hubs in southern Gaza, killing at least 32 people as confirmed by BBC News, according to witnesses and hospital officials. The incidents occurred near sites run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), a U.S.- and Israeli-backed group aiming to replace the U.N.’s aid system, which Israel claims is exploited by Hamas—a charge the U.N. denies. The Israeli army said it fired warning shots near Rafah overnight when the hubs were closed. GHF stated no incidents occurred at its sites and urged people not to approach during non-operational hours.
